Just to clarify . HTB not always provide real world hacking scenarios . As a matter of fact , many of the HTB machines are CTF style . They have artificially made attack vectors and unrealistic ways to get compromised . Like a file being encrypted 6 times or passwords inside an image . Stuff like that . New boxes ? Not so much . But old ones were like that .
